Welcome to CBL Stone Renovations

As dedicated stonemasons, we are passionate about preserving architectural heritage and delivering exceptional quality to every client

CBL Stone Renovations is a stonemasonry and building restoration firm based in the South East, covering London, Kent and East Sussex. We have been doing this work for over 30 years. In that time we have repaired crumbling Portland stone cornices on Georgian townhouses, rebuilt blown stucco facades on Victorian terraces, repointed entire elevations in lime mortar, and cleaned brickwork on listed buildings where the wrong cleaning method would have taken the face off every brick.

We are not a general building company that offers restoration as a sideline. Stonemasonry is the trade we trained in and the only trade we practise. We use lime mortars, natural stone, and hand-finished stucco work because that is what older buildings need. We do not use cement where lime should go, we do not patch over problems to save time, and we do not quote for work we are not qualified to carry out.
